Maine ceramicist Nancy Nevergole received a BS in education from Pennsylvania State University in 1972. She studied ceramics at Maine College of Art and drawing at Southern Maine Community College. Her work has been exhibited throughout New England and appeared in many well known publications, such as Better Homes and Gardens, Down East Magazine and Art New England.

Her recent work borrows from the Mudras of ancient Buddhism, especially the meaning derived from the position of their hands.
