All Media Plein Air Painting with Marjorie Glick Monday Aug 13 - 14, 2018
An intimate color intensive workshop conducted on the grounds of Turtle Gallery. Geared towards practicing artists working in any media who would like to deepen their understanding of color and gain insight into how to heighten it and use it in a more purposeful, expressive way. Critiques and constructive individualized feedback are important components of this workshop. 2 days 9-4 Limited to 5 students $350.

Japanese Color Woodblock Prints with Matt Brown Monday Aug 27 - 28, 2018
The workshop on the grounds of The Turtle Gallery is organized to offer a comprehensive introduction to the wonderful range of tools, techniques, and materials involved in this process. Everyone completes a multi-color print and engages with aspects of design, carving, and printing. There is an emphasis on sharing tricks and techniques that may be adapted to other art-making (watercolor painting, western style printmaking). All tools and materials provided. All experience levels welcome. $75. materials fee paid to instructor. 2 days 9-4 Limited to 5 students $350.

Experimental Drawing with MaJo Keleshian Monday Sept 10 - 11, 2018     
Guided individual and group projects explore the expressive use of traditional drawing media. This workshop on the grounds of the Turtle Gallery focuses on ways to discover a range of dynamic and varied markmaking possibilities–a foundation for creative drawing. For participants with some experience. 2 days 9-4 Limited to 5 students $350.
